One Swing at a Time
Generosity is not in the sum given, but the manner in which it is bestowed. ~Mahatma Ghandi This is the story of a kid named John, who...

So the words describing me above don't exactly fit with 'retirement' - or do they?
I think they do! And here's why:
Entrepreneur: I've lived in the corporate world, the government world, and now I use all those skills to help grow a global skincare brand founded by top-notch Stanford-trained dermatologists. I love the time flexibility I have, the financial freedom I have, and the ability to connect with like-minded entrepreneurs the world over.
End result? Even in retirement, my life is filled with interesting, fun, passionate, savvy and engaging friends and business partners!
Business Coach: Before retirement my entire career centered around business development, and small business consulting. It's something I still love. These days, even though I am semi-retired, I help people (admittedly mostly women) leverage our company and products to help fund - what can sometimes be - an underfunded retirement account. And we have a LOT of fun in the process!
End result? Even in retirement I stretch my brain every day!
Writer: So, I have this Blog. But long before blogging became popular, I wrote marketing and branding copy for small businesses. And some big businesses. Oh, and non-profits. Then I discovered content writing for websites, which I still love to do! Give me a fun client, an engaging story to tell the world, and I'm a happy girl.
End result? Even in retirement
I'll. Always. Be. Writing.
Traveler: I know - I know ... when do I find time to travel? ALL the time. Everything I do for fun (work included) I can do from anywhere as long as I have my phone and my laptop. Our home. Our second home. Our third home. (yep, there are 3) On an airplane. Or maybe a train. Sitting at a table in a sweet coffee shop in Lucca, Italy, or savoring a cold pint of beer at the Warm Springs Lodge in Sun Valley, Idaho. My husband John and I love traveling ... the exploration, food and wine, education, art, culture, and mostly the people. Our bucket list is loonnnggg these days and we love the planning as much as the going.
End result? We're always ALWAYS ready for the next adventure!
